"The Garden is a constant experiment you can study change and get comfortable with it, and that opens the door to feeling a lot more joy in your life". - Janice Parker
March is the month where we begin to see garden supplies fill the shelves at local garden supply companies. During the 2020 Covid lock down, people around the world began to place interest in gardening. Gardening is soothing and it allows us to create a work of art directly in our yards. By combining color with shapes and layers - your garden will have year round rewards.
Designing and preparing your garden is the fun part. Choosing perennials such as Lavender, Coreopsis or Shasta Daisy are just a few suggestions of perennials that give a garden height and depth. After you have chosen perennials, look at annuals to compliment your garden. Vinca [Madagascar periwinkle] blooms nonstop during the summer season. Annuals such as Marigolds and Impatiens work well in container gardens as well as making a statement in any flower garden.
