What's the latest trend?  What's the style?  What's vogue?

No matter how we phrase it, trends come and go.  And trends aren't one size fits all.  This post is to give you a look at what's trending in 2020.    Do you have a favorite trend?

Eclectic decor has been one of the top favorites like Bohemian style decor.   These fun styles bring a mixture of colors and textures to the homes of those who are inspired to follow its trend.   When decorating with eclectic and bohemian you can play with colors and fabrics along with various types of furniture styles.  No matching involved!  Go for the burst of yellows and blue stripes on an ottoman while the bright orange couch entertains animal print pillows.   And lets not forget the iron floor lamps or crystal chandeliers.   Eclectic also has its formal side like the image below.  Classic clean lines with prints that make this room pop with color also brings an organized formal living space.

Go Bold!

Botanical brings a garden feel to decorating.  Adding birds to botanicals is a perfect marriage.  So much its been described as "nature's power couple".   Botanical wallpaper in deep green or faded pinks will give warmth and glow to any room.   Whether you are inspired to use large fronds or the feathery breezy like fern - artist have been painting fern fronds since the Victorian times.

Kitchen botanical

Take your kitchen to the botanical side of living.  Soft whites along with natural elements and kitchen accessories add a clean and fresh look.

And don't forget about selecting your trendy paint color!  Selecting interior paint can be a job of its own!    Some home owners have used a room visualizer to give them an idea of what their select color will look like on the walls of the room they are painting.   Other home owners will paint the select color on the wall to get an idea of the color paint during daylight.   One good thing about paint -  it can always be changed.   The trending colors for 2020 are going back to nature.  Those warm colors that give you a happy vibe to stay in tonight!

Rustic, romantic, shabby chic, cottage style, lake house, beach house, contemporary, country, traditional, country market, or urban.   Home decor that is trending can keep home owners looking for the next estate sale.  It can be fun searching for items that will make your "trendy find" the topic of conversation at your next gathering.
